A distant future, formed by chaos, reigns in tedious peace. Humankind and his new neighbors share earth's last remaining landmass. Magic is commonplace, technology a new and magnificent discovery. By chance, 10 people carry shards of hope, a possible key to a future of their choosing. But what will they do with it?

AOI was my personal project from highschool until college, an illustrated story that was once a comic. I still use the story as a source of artistic inspiration (I've started a series of 100 themed illustrations that is still ongoing as of 2008) but I'm not sure when I'll return to write more of it. Still, I'm leaving this site up as an archive, and maybe in the future it will become active again?
